DISCOVER WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO SAY
Some of my clients realise they want to make difference by giving a TEDx talk, for example, but are not entirely sure what they want to say. Other clients just want to have a greater sense of conviction when speaking in group or board meetings at work, for example.
As a a certified co-active coach, I help all these people to work out what really matters to them by examining their values and clarifying a sense of purpose in their lives. I also help them to uncover the stories and experiences from their lives that give them their unique perspective and point of view. That then helps to give them a greater sense of clarity and assurance when they talk from a place of conviction rather than people-pleasing.
FIND YOUR OWN UNIQUE STYLE
I want you to be you, rather than copy someone else’s speaking style.
I believe that everyone is at their most compelling when they are being truly themselves. That is why when I work with my clients I help them to uncover their unique style and strengths that feel authentic to who they are. I do this by offering up my feedback on practice talks they give with me and video footage they send me of presentations they have done. I also get them to check in with their bodies to get a sense of whether they are feeling genuine or faking it at any given moment.
DEVELOP THE CONFIDENCE TO SPEAK
As well as supporting my clients to tap into their passion and motivation, I use centring techniques to help them feel more grounded and confident in their bodies.
I also recognise that some clients are fearful to speak up because of trauma they have experienced in their lives. Where appropriate, I work with specialist trauma therapists to give clients more support in processing and moving on from their past experiences.
TALK WITH IMPACT
I work on areas such as body language and vocal expression to give my clients more presence and gravitas when they are speaking. I also help them to prepare for talks and presentations in a way that works for them and also create visual aids (eg powerpoint slides) that will complement, rather than detract from what they are saying.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The relationships I have with my clients are always bespoke to their needs. Some need discrete one-off sessions whereas others like to meet me regularly (eg every two weeks) over a series of months. The price I charge depends on the number and frequency of sessions a client has with me so please contact me for a tailored quotation.
